Grab a lawn chair or a blanket and join your neighbors for food, fun, and a free movie under the stars at Witmer Park.
We'll have free pizza and popcorn, games, raffles, and a meet-and-greet with the Des Moines Menace soccer team! We'll also have updates on renovations and playground improvements at Witmer Park and how you can help.
Food and fun begin at 6 p.m. The film begins at dusk (about 9 p.m.).
This free community event, part of the CIty of Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department's annual Free Flicks film series, is hosted by the Drake Neighborhood Association and the WItmer Park Project and made possible with the support of Drake Neighborhood Association business partners University Library Cafe, Bank Iowa, and the Des Moines Menace.
